8.5" santoku Ready to Ship
Definitely one of my favorite pieces to date. The smoky hamon really has a lot of movement under the surface and shows a lot of layers in the light. An heirloom fit Wa handle with beautiful piece of dyed and stabalized box elder burl really compliments the movement in the steel in a really bold way.
Sort of a hybrid design between a honesuki and a santoku that I was playing around with. Full height convex grind coming in with a 8.5" cutting edge. 6000 grit stone finished cutting edge moves through most anything you could throw at it and at 65HRC it should hold that edge for quite a while.
